On 6-9th May, 2011 the 17th annual international scientific conference “Economics for Ecology” was held by students and young researchers on the basis of economic department of Sumy State University.
More than 100 students and scientists from Poland, Canada, Indonesia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Iraq, Algeria, Cameroun and Ukraine took an active role. The conference gathered a lot of enthusiastic young researchers who showed a high level of knowledge and erudition in economic management nature sphere and problems of sustainable and ecological development. The conference consisted of plenary meeting, workshops and summary.
All participants were given certificates, the best ones were given diplomas. The diplomas were given to the next students of Sumy State University: Mbelu Stanley Chizoba, Uzoigwe Kingsley Chukwuemeka, Marina Khizhnyak (MK-81), Nwosu Jonathan Emeka (AM-61), Oredugba Olawale, Odeleye Peter, Silvanus Njakunga.
The entertainments included the Ukrainian party, the International party and an excursion to Trostyanets town. The participants of the conference had a great opportunity to get to know Sumy region sights and discover more about Ukrainian rich culture.
