On December 23, 2016 at the IdeaLab of Sumy State University “Pitching of student ideas” was carried out within the implementation of grant SCOPES IZ74Z0_160564 “Enhancing Energy Security by Swiss-Ukrainian-Estonian Institutional Partnership”.
The event was attended by 16 student teams from Academic and Scientific Institute of Finance, Economics and Management, Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies, Academic and Scientific Institute of Law, Academic and Scientific Institute of Business Technologies “Ukrainian Academy of Banking” of Sumy State University which presented their own development on solving of current social and economic, energy and environmental problems. The projects were evaluated by an independent jury, which consisted of lecturers from National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” Tomaszewskiy R.S., Kozina O.A., Makarov V.O., Ved O.V. and from Sumy State University Sapozhnikov S.V. and Kostyuchenko N.N. Not only the jury, but the experts and students participated in the project discussion.
The winners are as follows: 1st place – the project “Eco-House” (Daria Sukhostavets, TSEET), 2nd place is shared between project “Velomobile” (Oleksandr Kochubey, ASI FEM) and project “Sumy State University in 3D” (Vladyslav Myronchenko, ASI FEM) 3rd place – the project “Eco-bag” (Victoria Yevtushenko, ASI FEM), the project “Mobile system of unmanned thermal diagnostics” (Taras Denysenko, TSEET), the project “Legal calculator” (Alina Voitenko, ASI FEM), and the project “SMART-bookcrossing” (Valery Bilenko, ASI FEM).
The carried out “Pitching student ideas” is an example of the positive synergistic effect of the work of project-oriented groups to deal with multi-functional tasks.
