According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 28, 2016 No. 1045 and taking into account changes to the provision

The following students are eligible for social scholarships:

1) orphans and children deprived of parental care;

2) persons affected by the Chornobyl disaster;

3) miners with an underground work experience of at least 3 years;

4) persons whose parents are miners, with an underground work experience of at least 15 years or who died as a result of an industrial accident or became disabled in Group I or Group II;

5) persons recognized as participants in hostilities and their children (until graduation from such institution, but no longer than 23 years of age);

6) children whose parent was killed (missing) in the area of ​​anti-terrorist operation, fighting or armed conflict, or died as a result of injury, contusion or injury sustained in the area of ​​anti-terrorist operation, fighting or armed conflict, as well as illness obtained during the period of participation in an anti-terrorist operation (until graduation from such institution, but no longer than 23 years);

7) children whose parents died during mass protests or died as a result of injuries, injuries or injuries sustained during mass protests (until graduation, but no longer than 23 years of age);

8) children registered as internally displaced persons (until graduation from such institution, but no longer than 23 years of age).

9) persons who have been awarded social scholarships by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for students of institutions of professional higher education and higher education from among orphans and children from needy families

10) children with disabilities and persons with disabilities of group I-III;

11) students from families receiving assistance under the Law of Ukraine “On State Social Assistance to Low-Income Families”;

12) persons with disabilities as a result of the war in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection” and their children (until the completion of their education in such institution, but not longer than 23 years of age)

13) children who live in settlements on the line of contact (before graduation by children to study at an educational institution, but not longer than 23 years of age).

 

In order to receive a social scholarship, students apply to the dean's office for a statement stating the following information and adding the appropriate copies of the documents:

- name, surname and patronymic;

- number, month, year of birth;

- Registered and actual place of residence;

- the basis for receiving a social scholarship.

 

The statement shall be accompanied by:

- copy of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine;

- copy of the birth certificate of the child;

- a copy of the certificate on the assignment of the registration number of the taxpayer's account card;

- copy of student ID.

 

In addition, students additionally submit the following documents (required to have the original document):

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 1:

- a copy of the decision of the guardianship authority to grant the status of orphan or child deprived of parental care or an excerpt from the registration card of orphaned child and child deprived of parental care;

- a copy of the death certificate of the parents;

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 2:

- a copy of the identity of the victim who suffered as a result of the Chornobyl disaster, of the established sample;

 

the persons referred to in points 3 and 4:

- certificate from the mining company indicating the length of underground work;

- Production-related accident report in form H-1;

- a copy of the certificate of medical and social examination;

- a copy of the death certificate of the father (mother).

 

In case the persons mentioned in subparagraphs 3 and 4 of item 4 are impossible to submit a certificate from the Pension Fund of Ukraine indicating the underground work experience from the number of internally displaced persons from the mining enterprise indicating the underground work experience.

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 5:

- copy of the combat participant's certificate of the established sample;

- certificate of the body of social protection of the population on registration in the Unified State Automated Register;

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 6:

- a copy of the death certificate of the father (mother);

- a document confirming the death (disappearance) of a parent issued by a military unit, a special-purpose law enforcement agency, or a court decision to declare missing (announcement of the deceased);

- a copy of the certificate of medical and social examination;

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 7:

- a copy of the death certificate of the father (mother);

- a copy of the certificate or certificate of the established sample of a family member of a fallen (deceased) war veteran;

- certificate of the body of social protection of the population on registration in the Unified State Automated Register;

 

the persons referred to in paragraph 8:

- a copy of the certificate of registration of the internally displaced person.
