In the framework of the agreement on cooperation, Doctor of Economics, associate professor Shkarupa O.V. participated in the program of academic mobility at Bingham University (Nigeria) from September 18, 2019 to March 20, 2020.
During this period, all the planned tasks within the framework of the academic mobility program were successfully completed, including providing lectures and practical classes, as well as research and seminars were held. In addition, students of 1-4 courses were consulted about the possibilities of studying at the department in the conditions of academic mobility and distance learning in order to obtain the qualification level “master” and took an active part in the scientific seminars of the Department of Economics at Bingham University. Shkarupa O.V. also took an active part in the round table “Nigeria and Ukraine. Internationalization of education: prospects and new opportunities ”, which was dedicated to discussing the further development of cooperation between universities and the presentation of academic mobility programs; held a presentation of the department’s capabilities at the business forum “Nigeria – Ukraine: a platform for business cooperation”, which was attended by students of various categories: government and business representatives, public organizations, teachers, students, and schoolchildren.
Participation in the academic mobility program allows you to better understand the features of scientific research and the preparation of scientific articles in Nigeria, as well as determine the ways of cooperation with scientists of Nigerian universities in the field of joint research.
