Online class with a practitioner at AVIS UKRAGRO Ltd.

On May 6, 2020 S.V. Pokhylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Entrepreneurship and the students of the group PI.m-91En had an E-Commerce online class dedicated to the topic “Payment Methods. Order Fulfillment » as a part of the study program “Investments, Entrepreneurship, and Startups”.

Svetlana Lukianova, Сhief Accountant of AVIS UKRAGRO Ltd. joined the online class. Ms. Lukianova shared her experiences with great pleasure and told the students about trading operations of the company, which is a modern agricultural producer. Domestic agricultural products are confidently conquering agricultural markets around the world. Export volumes of agricultural products to the European Union countries are growing rapidly due to the creation of a free trade zone with the EU (customs preferences) and zero export VAT rate, which gives VAT payers the right to claim for budget refund of tax paid in the value of goods / services used for the production of exported agricultural products. The speaker dwelt on the Modern payment systems for settlements with both foreign and domestic counterparties, including the use of smart cards. Ms. Svetlana also focused on the peculiarities of goods delivery, taking into account the new version of Incoterms-2020 rules. She stressed the importance of compliance with the current legislation regarding the conduct of trade operations at COVID-19 conditions. The students of F-71 group (Associate Professor Illiashenko T.A.) were invited to the online meeting. At the end of the meeting, students had an opportunity to ask Ms. Lukianova some practical questions, which are essential for practically-oriented studying.
