On May 23rd and 24th, the Department of Finance and Entrepreneurship held an incredibly interesting presentation of (full-time) Masters Students’ final works.
Quarantine restrictions, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, were not an obstacle to obtaining a Master’s degree for our students, whose presentations occurred with only the use of modern digital technologies. Masters’ papers, which were presented, were not only strongly based on theory, but also had practical value as the majority of students were employed by well-known audit companies, industrial enterprises, and financial institutions while working on their final thesis. Therefore, their papers contain real practical knowledge based on their working experiences.
These video presentations were highly professional and fascinating due to the students having extensive experience in the given sphere. A large number of students, who were also simultaneously studying abroad or taking part in academic exchange programs, have previously used this video conference tool to defend their term papers, to present Bachelor’s thesis and other Master’s thesis.
