On October 14, 2020, Andriy Marakhovsky, a graduate student of the Department of Marketing, initiated and co-organized the Pokrova Festival, which took place in Shostka, Sumy Region.
The main focus of the event was to raise awareness of young people and society on the prospects of sustainable functioning of the territories, promoting the opportunities of the Seversky region for the development of entrepreneurship and “green” business.
The festival was joined by speakers who made the event interesting for investors, developers and business owners who want to innovate.
Among the interesting topics were:
- Opportunities to develop your own business with the Business Incubator of the Svema Industrial Park (Anna Efimenko, Director of the Business Incubator of the Svema Industrial Park);
- Presentation of business plans for growing medicinal plants (Alexander Gubanev, technologist-consultant of Shlesem Ukraine);
- Fundamentals of sustainable rural development (Ruslan Sereda, Commercial Director of Kyiv AOC);
- Possibilities of implementation of food quality standards (Alexander Goman, expert on the development and implementation of a system of risk analysis, hazards and control of critical points (HACCP).
