SCOPUS (officially named SciVerse Scopus) is a bibliographic database containing abstracts and citations for scholarly journal articles. It covers nearly 18,000 titles from more than 5,000 international publishers, including coverage of 16,500 peer-reviewed journals in the scientific, technical, medical and social sciences (including arts and humanities) fields.
The Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in Science and Technology approved a new version of the Regulations on the procedure of nomination, registration and submission of work for State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology and to receive annual awards of the President of Ukraine for young scientists. Applicant must indicate the total number of refereed publications in international journals in particular, contained in the database SCOPUS, common identifier SJR (SCImago Journal Rank) and total citation index of papers of applicants.
